A realistic look at abortion and University Trending Philosophies
The March for Life always presents a protest that rallies the hearts of millions who are standing for the life of all souls. However, the ones that are not able to walk along are fighting for their right to enter into the world; a world of evil. This evil began centuries ago when followers of pagan worship included giving over their children in fire or bloody offerings.
We’ve all heard the term “a silent scream” in which each unborn baby yells out “please do not do this” . “I am a human person waiting to take my first breath, and see my parents holding me so dearly!”
If only the younger generation could understand this truth that once an egg in a woman’s ovaries is fertilized by male sperm, he/she is already a human person in the sense that from that action will become a doctor, a scientist, a priest, or even a president of a nation. This is a real human person at every stage of growth; a quick process of implantation to a heart beating muscle, and with physical feelings as an ultrasound proves.
Today, young women are choosing colleges and universities that promote abortion to enter for their education. There are so many who do not adhere to a living child in their womb and simply use the theme, “It's my body and have the right to do as I please.” When any of them stand before the judge of life what will their response be when asked what they did to another human life, through abortion. Of course, abortion, like all sin, is forgivable but one must know that sin is always a personal choice. Not a choice of preserving a rite to eliminate what they see as a burden; a right to allow their moment of sexual gratification continue through a child of God to enter this world free of injury, free from a doctor’s scalpel or worse, and to hear the cry of hunger and love of a mother’s arms. To hold and nurture, to be a mother of the most common mystery of creating another human being who looks up with a smile and assurance he/she has a protector called mother who cares for me.
Education is a reality that all who desire knowledge must seek and absorb the truth of life. Teachers who are called to pass on knowledge of how and why to the unlearned are also mandated to respect the gifts they have to share their own beliefs. God help those who willingly corrupt the truths that only God has endowed them with. Teaching evil to the mentally deficient in any walk of life instead of nurturing their minds with life-giving antidotes of purity and love will be their own abjection. Instructing someone to sin is to become the very essence of finding hell.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not tude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Cor 13: 4 - 7). Paul’s teaching sets a precedent to all who teach, all who learn, and all who believe in God and human life; now and in eternity.
