When Your Reeling

When Your Reeling 

When your life’s a rockin 

And the  world’s vibes have you reeling 

Maybe it’s time to stop and start your searching

For that place that’s quiet and humbling 

Like the Apostles in the boat that day 

In a storm panicked not even knowing how to pray

But Who they had with them oh my

He who they awoke with a loud cry

Jesus the Lord was asleep at the helm

Now awake and disturbed He chose to help them

They with no hope scared and afraid 

All they had to do was ask and He obeyed 

The wind and storm it ceased right then and there

Our Lord is truly wonderful and yes He does care 

So when you’re in a tight spot or a hustle 

Don’t fight fret and get worked up in a tussle 

Call on your Savior to save the day

Go on give it a try for it never hurts to pray

But you do have to believe and trust

You have to do this too you must

For He only helps those who rely on Him

For those who don’t life ends up pretty grim
