From God To You
Do Not Let Your Guard Down
Eileen Renders January 2024
We are living today in a time when there is a lot of uncertainty. Perhaps, this is more evident to those of us over fifty years of age, and even more so to those who have lived even longer. The younger generation, although they may not have known a different world, is still a generation with a much higher rate of suicide.
And as a people who have lived through many decades, we are also living in a time without expectancy of a greater tomorrow Many find their faith shaken and understandably, as they see terrorists, threats, and wars all around, and not often do we even hear the name of our Lord.
Often, we will speak about the good, or the bad politicians as we perceive them, but somehow avoid the name of our Creator. This is a very bad place to be as we are opening the door to even more terror. The unspeakable terror of losing our connection with our God, our creator, our Lord of love and mercy.
Moreover, we have allowed the door to our heart and soul to allow the Evil one to sneak in. If we are, and I repeat, if we are in The End Times, and we hear and see a lot of talk about that possibility, we need God now more than ever. Satan waits for any and every opportunity to shut God out lie to us, and fill us with all sorts of negativity as he knows our weaknesses.
Being on guard requires that we may need to be armed. Armed with our God through rosaries, frequenting the sacraments, and teaching our family of the potential threats that could attack us at any time of the day, or night.
Remain on constant guard for Satan is on the prowl. Be not afraid, but be armed with the grace and blessings from God.
