A Little Litany of Pentecost
I'm reaching for the hem of His robe now.
And I'm not far, but still have a ways to go.
But I see it.
I see Him.
I just don't know what He's doing.
But I know
that He's doing;
He's building up what His love tore down.
I can't do this on my own, no.
Can someone just help me get up close?
I'm alone here.
It's new here.
But I'm here.
And that is good.
He looked my way,
put out His hand;
inviting me,
drawing me so close.
There's nowhere I’d rather be
than in His gaze
and in His grasp.
I might look back
and I might look down,
but I won't hold back.
I won't hold back.
