The Game of Life

    I had a dream early in the morning that God sent my way, in answer to prayers for understanding. 

   For well over a week I have been having a sadness, many negative emotions, and dealing with frequent tears that came for no reason at all. I was begging God to tell me why is this happening? Am I receiving feelings and emotions of many people all over the world as this darkness comes into our lives from the events happening, God? Or, is it because of the symptoms of aging I am dealing with, the stress of caring for a ailing spouse, that I am so down?
    A trip to parish where I was raised, visiting With old friends. didn’t help either. I knew that this may be the last time I would see them on this earth. Many I know share being tired, weary, hurting and unable to do like we used to do. So this too, adds to our common sadness.
     So, the dream was sent to bring that needed "light bulb" moment.
In the dream about four people myself included were playing cards poker. To the people were my brother and sister, who have gone onto Heaven the third was a unknown person. I could see all of their hands, and I knew what an awesome winning hand they each had! So, as I looked at each of them, I would get excited and said, "Wow what a hand you have!" Knowing this, they would look at each other and FOLD, thinking, "I can’t win."
    As for myself, I had a lousy hand and could’ve won because they folded, but I had six cards instead of five and so I in fairness, there was no winner, because they folded.
     With morning, the wisdom behind the dream came.
Everyone in life is dealt a winning hand, or a losing hand in the game of life. Depending on what others say about us, or our life.  We will either see ourselves as winners, or we will see ourselves as losers!!!  Because of this belief, many choose to fold and give up.

    In this day, in this life, there are too many suicides, because of what society is doing to the minds of people everywhere. The lies that are being spoken and also the impression that society is giving people: That if we are not looking a certain way, or wearing certain clothes are being “liked” on the media: Then we are losers! Many fold, many give up on life--for they do not know they are WINNERS!!!

    God does not make junk, dear people, all are created for a purpose, a reason and a why! We have all been sent to this earth to be the gift of Love!    Our mission therefore is to go forth and spread this good news!
    Tell each person you see, "Wow, what an awesome person you are. I love your smile! God sure did a great job creating you! He went to alot of trouble too, to make you YOU; the gift that you are!"
   This works, for I get smiles everywhere I go, and people will always say 'thank you, you really made my day.' Or, "I needed to hear that!"
    We must speak to loved ones, friends, and strangers too---the words we would want to hear! Words that encourage, show appreciation and reaffirm in every being ---YOU ARE AWESOME!! God did good creating you, the gift you are!!
    Everyone is a winner and holds a winning hand!! We just must see everything in life as part of this winning hand, with the cards that are dealt! In every 'reason/season' there is a purpose.  So beloved, "Rejoice always, in all things give thanks and pray without ceasing for this is the Will of the Lord for you."
