Our Source, Our Summit

The Eucharist is everything:

“the source and summit

of the Christian life” 

(CCC 1324).

 
May It be so in mine,

my Beginning and my End.

To the heights, 

in the depths, 

and through each rerouting.

May I let Jesus in it all.

Not an afterthought,

but What every thought is after.

The Inspiration for any act of charity

and the Correction for when it lacks.

The reason any good

can come of me,

for all goodness is found in It.

The Eucharist is everything.
