Glisten 

I am dirty Lord please make me clean

With your forgiveness like the snow will my soul glisten 

I am not to brag that You healed me and I am now sinless 

For when I do I’ve just brought back the horrible ugliness

Instead let my actions be Your Calling Card

Let me help those in need in my own front yard 

Let me be Your Arms Legs and Voice 

For by cleansing me You’ve given me a choice 

To show who You are by my actions 

Not boasting looking for reassuring reactions 

Unlike the leper whom You healed and said don’t tell 

Let me quietly and lovingly help and not braggingly yell

Your Words to live eternally I must obey

Listen hear and pray them each and every day 

Amen
