Tempted
T. Tempted by the devil in the desert was He
E. Every day yes all forty
M. Most would have given up and surely died
P. Pleasure removed and only by prayer the loss relieved
T. Thankful for the Angels who came and remedied
E. Even they astounded by this His hermetic deed
D. Done the Devil worn and confounded Jesus our Lord unfazed and undaunted
