Speaking of the Devil
Recognizing and Answering God’s Inspiration
Eileen Renders February 2024
Recognizing when and how God inspires us? You will recognize at once, how these thoughts are not your own as you have never before dwelled on the idea of being inspired by God. Yet when His inspiration, in the form of a concept, or idea comes rolling through your mind, you immediately realize that you are being gifted with wisdom on a matter you have never even conceptualized before. Moreover, you have a name, and a title for these thoughts, and can clearly describe them to describe this blessing to share with others. All that God gives to us is meant to be shared, and if it is not shared, the wisdom will dissipate, or become clouded. In other words, we lose it.
An example of God’s inspiration personally is this article. As a senior with many years of praying and speaking to God, I am now able to be still and listen, and often hear His voice in the quiet, still of the night. As a young person, I suspect many of us pray to God for an answer to our dilemma, a child is ill, we cannot meet our financial obligations, we may feel that our marriage is failing, and we are distressed. In such situations, it is difficult to be still and hear God’s inspiring words. Through consistent intercession with Him, and always trusting that He hears our pleas, we may come to a time in our life when we are quiet, and hear His inspiration in our minds, and in our hearts.
God inspires many of my articles, and if you do not hear Him yourself, you hear Him today as He has inspired you to read Catholic365 to share in all that He gives and to everyone who has something to share.
Always know that when it is truly God who is inspiring you, that inspiration will be accompanied by clarity and direction that provides a channel for sharing.
