The Reality of Truth
In God’s realm we will find all that alludes our understanding
What is it that seems to grow further from our senses in understanding God, his creation, and our finite ability to get answers from our weaknesses?
First, let’s look at understanding God. Without being on the same level as a divine being we have no way of making a comparison with an intellect that created us and the final outcome that is not ours to duplicate.
Second, creation of something can be ours if we have the time and energy to put earthly materials together to show our selectivity of making something using the products at our disposal. A potter finds clay and placing it on a spindle will build pottery for the enjoyment of many people. A conductor will place the notes and stops in an unknown fashion to please the listening ears of music lovers everywhere. Writers use their gifts of creating verse that teach or guide minds that yearn for truths that are muted until the keys of a computer begin to type.
It is in the process of a finite brain to actually attempt to create something from using nothing to place his ideas into reality. Only an infinite being, like God Himself, can produce everything from just his eternal desire to create man and all that he can see, feel, and enjoy here and now. This becomes the first essence of human understanding which seems to elude our wandering minds to place reality that we can discern.
How many agnostics refuse to accept the truth that only God can, and did, create everything from only his desire to make the world for us. As we will continue to search what exists with God and the many mysteries that confound us are just the beginning of an unseen but promised existence in eternity with him forever. O, how quick we are to doubt his masterful imagination that has a complete answer for what creation of man is all about.
In the beginning when God created all that exists, he foresaw the fall of man, before the Genesis story, and already was putting into place the Incarnation of his Son, to bring our weakened condition back home where we were created to be. We must remember that there is no past or future with God since he is eternal. Eternal means everything is an existence that is always present to God, and will be for each of us as well.
Herein, we see the understanding of God, his creation of everything, including man, and the ability for man’s finiteness to finally fit into the mysteries of God who created that as well.
A definition of God; He IS and will always be the I AM for doubters and believers whom he created in the beginning. The question many agnostics, and perhaps believers as well may ask, just what is the beginning and when did it appear in eternity? This is the most classic mystery of God, our creator. If God has always been the I AM then there is no beginning since eternity has always been. To answer that question to satisfy the finite mind, we may never find it this side of heaven. Once we arrive and are with God, many questions as that may not be our concern since our presence with the Eternal Trinity will be enough to satisfy our trek on earth and finding forgiveness through God’s Mercy.
