The Law
Moses was given the first ten
The Laws of God in stone were written
These commandments applied directly to us
To how we serve God and how we serve others
613 laws created by the Pharisees
To keep them all was an impossibility
Constant were the offerings
The smoke the blood from sacrificing
Along came the One they wouldn’t believe
He who they claimed could never be
The long awaited Messiah their great King
No He is a carpenter’s son He knows nothing
But alas to their unbelief
The man whom they’d crucify like a thief
Taught that all the laws could become just two
And if one followed them they would be great too
For this requirement meant only one thing
That you were doing God’s bidding
For this man is His Begotten Son
He Who holds the key to the True Kingdom
And following His rules guarantees
That you’ll be forever in blissful peace
With the Father The Son The Spirit All Three
You’ll be in Heaven forever with the Blessed Trinity
