Just Like Us

Just Like Us

As in the Feast of the Tabernacles

As it continues for all of us

It was not the time then for His big event

As we too await His final return while trying to stay very patient 

You see our Lord was preparing for his insurrection 

To the laws that would bring about His Resurrection 

Thus ending the dread of death

An event that left believers without breath

But at that feast it was not the time

And like a ghost he passed through the crowd as though they were all blind

We too must prepare for His second coming

Though no one knows when it might be occurring 

Keeping our lamps lit and an abundance of oil

Will keep us from an eternity of toil
