St Joseph a Father

S. Saint Joseph 

T. Truly a great Saint and father indeed

J. Jesus his foster son was the only child 

O. Of this carpenter so meek yet strong gentle and mild

S. Silent but with actions that spoke so loudly

E. Embodiment of a true father was he

P. Persuaded for this endeavor by the Angel of God

H. He accepted this responsibility after a dream with a simple nod

A. After the birth his job now husband and father

F. Far they would travel Joseph Jesus and Mary the lad’s mother

A. As far as Egypt and back to Nazareth would they return

T. There in this town he would pass on his skills to this his only Son

E. Eventually this great man left our earthly world 

R. Remanded into Heaven destined to live forever with our Lord
