Gratitude
Because He’s God

Because He’s God
He is the voice of reason
The logic of Supreme Wisdom
The Lord born human
Who is the Forever Reigning King
He formed the earth the stars the sky
The heavens planets and meteors up high
He created all living creatures
And gave us all our unique features
Yet when He tries hard to explain
Situations that may contain
Reasons for some to heavily doubt
They who don’t want to believe try to stone stamp and shout
When they try to confront Him
He disappears into thin air
Lost are they and their time is slim
If only they knew they would be kind and care
If only someone could explain
It’s like finding an umbrella in the rain
That He is God
Jesus is the Living Word
If we all too would just try and hear
The Words He spoke were truly clear
We would learn we must love everybody
To obtain our salvation eternally
