3 O'Clock; A time for evil of forgiveness
The question of Hell! Does it really exist?
Our walk with Jesus amidst the Palms of Faith!
This may appear to be a strange topic to discuss for Palm Sunday, but the fact that death is always a current reality in our walk of faith and the thrust of Jesus has always been to avoid sin and hell is just as important.
There are, and have always been, more than a few heretics that promote the absence of this place and say, “A God who is loving would never create such an impossible existence.” Let me tell you for those who do believe in God and his goodness are aware that Satan is the happiest entity of God’s creation. Without the knowledge or belief in hell Satan will work his evil against all of us and become the very essence of destroying our eternal souls.
If hell is not a reality, there is no fear that anyone who rejects God will not be without eternal salvation. The sad thing with this belief is without sin none of us would have needed a savior, and our Father didn’t need to send his Only Son, to be the only path for us to reach eternal life with God. In fact, with the absence of sin and a payment for its keeping mankind from forgiveness, what we look forward to in a few days, the Easter Triduum, the crucifixion of Jesus, his burial, and ultimate resurrection as a pattern that we too will experience may become an impossible mandate for man. (Jn 3: 16).
From the beginning, however we identify its essence, God created everything in existence. His love was, and still is, supreme for humanity and the only requirement is to believe in the Truth, which is Christ taking on humanity in order to bring God’s mercy and forgiveness for sin. If sin is the one entity that will keep the soul of man from eternal life with God, then we must be faithful to the very reason of his Passion/Death/Resurrection. Without these attributes which is Truth itself, hell by your own choice is the ultimate direction the soul will endure, for all eternity
The CCC says; “We cannot be united with God unless we freely choose to love him. But we cannot love God if we sin gravely against him, against our neighbor or against ourselves: He who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (see 1st John 3: 14 - 15). Our Lord warns us that we shall be separated from him if we fail to meet the serious needs of the poor and the little ones who are his brethren. To die in mortal sin without repenting and accepting God’s merciful love means remaining from him forever by our own free choice. This state of definitive self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed is called “hell.” (CCC 1033).
As we walk with Jesus into Jerusalem, the shouts of victory are heard worldwide as you and I will continue to praise Christ by teaching his Truth to all his children. This adherence to Holy Week will separate us from the purveyors of disbelief. (cf Mt 21: 1 - 11).
