Here we are about to celebrate

The last Mass of the year

This one is special for it includes

The cleansing of the feet

For our Lord did do this that great night

Before He gave His Apostles the Eucharistic rite

He washed their feet as a servant would

Not because He had to but so they should

This was just another lesson on forgiveness

Given by The Man The Living Witness

Of how much our Father loves us

So much He sacrificed His Son Jesus

Just so that we could live

Yes that act is why we will never die

But servants to others we must be

Even if it means cleansing their feet

Amen
