The Deed

Arisen is our Lord

But unhappy are the Pharisees

About the rising of our Lord the Living Word

Who lie about it and now try to appease

Tell all that it was His friends who took it

Who came and took His body

Here’s some money to be silent

Don’t worry we’ll handle the rest of the story

Arisen is our Lord Jesus Christ

Death destroyed by His sacrifice

The Pharisees in a terrible way

For their credibility lost that day

So hurt they made up a crime

But did not seek to try to find

Those they claimed committed the deed

A lie they would now struggle to feed

Arisen is Jesus our Lord

Whom even the Devil

Thought was destroyed

Good that day conquered all evil

Go out and spread the good news

Tell all you see yes everybody

Arisen is The King of the Jews

Spread the word through every country
