You might binge-listen this podcast...I know I did!
Over the years, many friends have asked me where I normally get my news. For many years, I often watched and read Fox News, but they are not the same anymore. There are still good people there but their agenda is different than it was many years ago.
Nowadays, I normally get my first taste of news in the morning, from an excellent source - Catholic Vote. The best thing about the Catholic Vote is that you don't have to be Catholic to read The Loop. If you are Catholic, that's great, but being Catholic is not a neccessary requirement. Catholic Vote provides quality news that anyone can read. The best thing about Catholic Vote is that you can get The Loop sent right to your email. To sign-up for Catholic Vote and The Loop email, click here. It is the first email I open every morning.
Other than Catholic Vote, I recommend National Catholic Regsiter, EWTN, New Advent, and Big Pulpit. These are good places to start, although there are other reliable sources that are faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Avoid anything written by the National Catholic Reporter. They are “catholic in name only” and deep down inside really despise the Catholic Church. Definitely avoid reading the mainstream media such as CNN, (Dis)Associated Press, MSNBC, New York Times, Newsweek and the other despicable outlets that compose the mainstream media. Many of these outlets hate Catholics. Avoid them at all cost.
Don't forget to sign up for The Loop.
