The Bible is meant to be a tool, not a weapon
We are always around screens. We are replying to a text, watching TV, seeing an electronic billboard, etc. Each screen shares data with us and distracts us as well.
Each time we look at a screen, we take ourselves not just away from the moment we live in but also from the thoughts within our minds. This includes our consciousness.
We can not take time to reflect on who we are and the actions that we are taking if we are constantly distracted by screens. Our modern level of communication is convenient and valuable.
However, we must balance it with time with our minds. Let us have screen time and soul time: one to stay informed, keep in touch, and better ourselves and the world around us.
