Dinner Time

Mom I’m hungry

So am I

Dad responds yes the whole family

We can’t leave now

This Man has much to say

But I’m tired and thirsty now

See if anyone has a snack

A sip of water

What this place needs is a food shack

His talk is so encouraging

The time just flies by

So many people listening

Wait look what are they doing

His men His Apostles

Wow it looks like they’re distributing

But from what and where

I only saw a boy with some fish and bread

He was just over there

Oh here’s the food

Oh so much bread and fish

Oh it is so good

Amazing how did He do it

Five loaves two fish

And now not an empty wicker basket

All that’s left over has been picked up cleaned

What a sight

And everyone completely fed

And His message so wonderful

Everyone captivated

Life with Him has got to be joyful
