So Much

So much He did after His Resurrection

The hope that appeared lost was real not fiction

Mary terrified at the burial site

Given reassurance after her fright

The disciples on the road to Emaous

Startled but relieved to have Him amongst

The Apostles in the locked room

Empty save for maybe a table and broom

Scared out of their wits when He arrived

Because He entered as a ghost not a Guy

The Spirit He then placed on them all

And gave them a task that wasn’t small

To evangelize the whole world

Go out and spread His necessary Word

Let the people know that you are there to save

A message that when they get causes them to rave

For then they will know they all will be okay

If they continue to constantly pray

Amen
