Without Priests we are Doomed!
My Woman, My Lover, My Wife
Words spoken over eons by men who love their spouses to the point of eternity. Not enough men have had the opportunity to share this same reality of a woman who is the love and strength of a union blessed by God.
After all the needs that the two have accomplished, their time away from the demands of parenting or other daily chores they are now once again one without the stress of life. My one feeling of peace is when I can look at her face and see an angelic view as she is always at peace in her sleep. It is a revelation of what life can be when two share years of happiness together.
Without disturbing her sleep I just lie there and promise that I shall always be there for her and protect everything about her. My one thanks to God is he allowed this Woman, Lover, and Wife to come into my life. Her response of being who she is overwhelms any shortsightedness that can affect too many without these attributes of marriage made by God.
So much tribulation and tyrannical occurrences are constantly surrounding the world we live in, having a loving partner as a wife is the most crucial element I have discovered. When we turn off the TV and listen to the quiet of the night, the world’s problems can drift away at least for another night of togetherness. She responds to me, her Man, her Lover, her Husband; forever!
The reality of what may be ahead through government abuse, Church problems, and people who have rejected God, our spouse will be the one rose in a garden prepared for humanity; husbands and wives.
Holy Matrimony is not just a Sacrament to be searched and completed. It is the very basis that started the human race. There are so many attacks on the family; abortion, same sex unions, sexual misconduct, and perhaps one can add their own observance of the broken laws given to Moses. (Dt 5: 1 - 21).
If anything good is to come out of the unholy world we all live in, it must begin with the family: a Man and Woman, married and living as God intended. It may not always be easy, but with the promise to love one another until death do they part, the world’s problems may become easier to cope with.
