Jesus, I trust in you
Can you imagine time all the way back to Adam and Eve? If you can, then you can grasp the fact that we are all ancestors of the 1st creation of man and woman. Adam and Eve.
Our God's well thought out plan. Starting with the Garden of Eden. But of course, the jealous evil one crept in somehow and took advantage of their innocence, thus causing them to rely on a falsehood instead of the Truth. No wonder I have such a hard time with surrender! It's been going on clear back to the beginning of time. The only problem is, why can't I learn from their terrible mistake? Just like my Ancestors, I listen to the world much too often and therefore suffer the consequences.
I bet Adam and Eve freaked out bad after they had realized what they had done! No more easy road, no more fruitfulness without labor. From that moment on it was hard work and suffering. I think about what life would be like if they wouldn't have messed up. How there would be no more suffering or wars or greed or hunger. Our free will is a gift not to be messed with or confused with thinking it is just for self. Everyday we must make choices that are supposed to be for the greater glory of God, not for self. They must be thought out well and guided by the Holy Spirit.
All good choices benefit our souls to the highest degree. Just because some fruits look good, doesn't mean you have to eat them. Our ancestors weren't thinking. Their haste in satisfying themselves took them down. Our haste in our judgments can take us down just as fast also. Thank you God, for the Sacrament of Confession. Adam and Eve had the ultimate priest that they had to confess to. We also will meet God our Father and have to confess our wrong doings. Oh! Let me learn now, before it's too late! Before the thief comes in the night and steals me away before I've had a chance to repent.
Our ancestry line can help teach us the rights and wrongs of life before judgment. Let us awaken our minds and souls to the one true God. Our God, the Father in Heaven. The one who really loves us.
