Too many Netflix series to binge watch to seek God.
Too many social media posts to scroll through to seek God.
Too many books to read to seek God.
Too many YouTube videos to seek God.
Too much online shopping to do to seek God.
Too many worldly pursuits to seek God.
But then, suddenly and unexpectedly, death comes and it's...
Too late to seek God!
No wonder our world is such a mess!
Resolution - Let's "seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near" (Isaiah 55:6):
Spend time with God in prayer for 30 minutes a day. Here is a wonderful method of mental prayer. This is so important!
During those 30 minutes, read Scripture and apply it to your life.
Use a Scripture based devotional. I love Divine Intimacy by Tan Books.
Before going to bed, examine your day. Follow these 5 steps: 1. Give thanks to God for his blessing 2. Ask Him for the grace of light to know your sins and to reject them 3. Review your thoughts, words, and actions for what may have been in opposition to the divine commandments 4. Ask for forgiveness for your mistakes 5. Then make a commitment to change. Make the resolution to take one concrete step in your effort to change.
Don't miss Mass on Sundays or Holy Days. We are made to worship. If we don't worship God, we will worship something else.
Make sure you are in the State of Grace before receiving Holy Communion. Go to Confession a.s.a.p. if you are not.
Make of yourself a capacity and God will make Himself a torrent.

I am a daughter of the Most High and of His Catholic Church. I introduce myself that way because I am so grateful for that! I have been married to Dan for 36 years and we have three young adult children - Brett, Nicole and Eryn - and three grandchildren - Cash, Bowie and Indy. I was employed as the Adult Faith Formation Coordinator at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, Georgia for 14 years from December of 2008 to January of 2023. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from Catholic Distance University and a certificate as a Catholic Spiritual Mentor from the Catholic Spiritual Mentorship Program.
I left fulltime ministry in the parish to concentrate on organizing events. I would like to extend my outreach to other parishes and organizations who would like to host a wonderful Adult Faith formation event but might not have the experience or confidence to do that on their own. I offer various services including but not limited to (fees are charged hourly for most services):
+ Event Planning: event planning from start to finish,
+ Consultation: consultation about an event,
+ Consultation about running a successful Adult Faith Formation Program.
+ I also offer different Adult Faith classes and courses that can be accessed by an individual or a group or can be taught by me via zoom or locally in person.
