Hard to Understand

It is hard to understand

To drink My Blood and eat My Flesh

Even though it brings life and does refresh

It is hard to understand

That to gain eternal life with You

This act of eating I must do

It is hard to understand

Look at they

Who sullenly walk away

It is hard to understand

They are sad and not amused

Back to their old ways they go confused

It is hard to understand

To conceptualize and get a grasp

If I don’t stay focused back into sin will I too lapse

It’s hard to understand

So don’t try to understand just believe

Trust in Me and you’ll forever have relief

It’s not hard then to understand

That I am the Son of God the Father

And I offer you My Spirit and life with Me forever
