"Wherefore, in order that all doubt may be removed regarding a matter of great importance, a matter which pertains to the Church's divine constitution istself, in virtue of my ministry of confirming the brethern (cf. Lk. 22:32) I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church's faithful." - Ordinatio Sacerdotalis, Pope John Paul II, May 22nd, AD 1994 (Pentecost)
Currently there are many who keep pushing for the ordination of women to the priesthood. Let this serve as a reminder that women can not ever become priests and the Catholic Church doesn't have the power to confer ordination upon women. The priesthood is reserved to men and men alone.
Some are advocating for female deacons, women can never be given the imposition of hands, they can't receive the sacrament of Holy Orders and the indellible mark it places on the soul. The Council of Necaea (AD 325), the First Ecumenical Council of the Church stated in reference to women who had been granted a certain status of service the following:
"We refer to deaconesses who have been granted this status, for they do not receive any imposition of hands, so that they are in all respects to be numbered among the laity." - Canon 19
Even in the Early Church women did not excercise a priestly ministry or a ministry like those of the ordained. They received no imposition of hands, no Holy Orders, no indellible character upon their souls. They were forbidden from instructing men. There is no precedent in the Bible, in the Early Church, or now that would give way to the ordination of women.
Women can not be ordained whatsoever in the Catholic Church, this is settled Church teaching and anyone who says, teaches, or supports the contrary is in opposition the Catholic Church and Jesus Christ. They are heretics, blantant heretics. Some might say that this could happen in the future, whoever dares try to ordain women is not of the Catholic religion, they are of a false religion. Do not follow them on that path, for that path only leads to hell.

Born a Protestant, I converted to the Catholic faith at the age of 18 during my senior year of High School. I was baptized a United Methodist, became an American Baptist, and when I got my license I began to serch out other Churches and denominations. At 16 to 17, I was placed in the pulpit of a non-denomational church and preached a total of two sermons in the span of three months, before ultimately beginning the long and somewhat bumpy journey of converting to Catholicism. I was received into the Catholic Church on September 4th, 2021 and was confirmed on September 19th, 2021 by the Most Reverend Mark E. Brennan of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. For my patron saint, I was lucky enough to take the Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, who deeply inspired my conversion to the Catholic faith. I am currently discerning what God has in store for my life and what He will lead me to do. I am just beginning to publish articles that I have written.
