The Death Penalty and the Vatican II Church
No Jew, No Infidel, No Liberal Protestant, No Liberal "Catholic" can say that He isn't or say that the term is anti-semitic. He is King of the Jews and King over all of creation. For us, who are truly Christian, Christ is truly OUR KING! No one has the right to accuse us of hate for being faithful to Our King, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Especially, these so-called liberal "Catholics." For the liberals, the modernists, they are not only trying to dethrone Our King. They are also denying dogmatic Catholic teaching and proclaiming themselves, some perhaps not knowing, heretics of the faith.
Since the beginning of the Chruch, the beginning of Christianity, Christ has been recognized as King, He is rightfully the King of eternity. We have always recognized the truth of the Kingship of Jesus Christ. A Kingship with is eternal.
We as Catholics would do well to remember that we have officially celebrated the Feast of Christ the King every year since Pope Pius XI declared it in AD 1925, almost a century ago. He did this in his encyclical "Quas Primas - In the First."
Here are a few quotes from Pope Pius XI concerning this matter:
"Nations will be reminded by the annual celebration of this feast that not only private individuals but also rulers and princes are bound to give public honor and obedience to Christ. It will call to their minds the thought of the last judgement, wherein Christ, who has been cast out of public life, despised, neglected and ignored, will most severely avenge these insults; for his kingly dignity demands that the State should take account of the commandments of God and of Christian principles, both in making and in administering justice, and also in providing for the young a sound moral education."
- Paragraph 32 of Quas Primas -
"At the last judgement, Christ will accuse those who have expelled Him from public life and will have the most terrible vengence from such an outrage."
- Pope Pius XI -
The greatest defender of the Catholic faith in the 20th century, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre defended this very fact that Christ was King and that it is a dogma of the Church for the faithful to believe in and submit to. He defended it at a time in history when the modernists were attempting to uncrown Christ as King. Still today, the work of Archbishop Lefebvre in this matter rings true when we see Vatican officials and the liberal clergy try everything in their weak human power to uncrown Christ as king of society.
Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre wrote the following that is strongly worded, but rightfully said, and needs to be reminded quite often to the clergy and the faithful.
"At the risk of repeating myself, I come back to the social kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ, that dogma of the Catholic Faith, which no one can put in doubt without being a heretic: yes, exactly: a heretic!"
- Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre -
Remember, Our Lord said as well, "All power is given to me in heaven and in earth" (Matthew 28:18).
It is essential for Catholics to recognize the Kingship of Christ and work tirelessly for His recognition in all places in the world. After all, He is King over all things, not just things, but ALL THINGS, NATIONS, PLACES, AND PEOPLE.
Never tire in proclaiming that Christ is King. Even if the world mocks, hates, and reviles you. Never surrender to the forces of Satan, never surrender to the synagogue of Satan (Apocalypse 2:9 & 3:9). "If the world hates you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you" (John 15:18).
Christians died because of that simple phrase, never tire in using it. Never give it up. Remember the martyrs, who before you, gave their lives because they refused to surrender the truth for the sake of living.
Those who attempt to destroy us bodily for recognizing this Christian truth, will never be able to destroy the soul. Those who attempt to revile us will face their eternal punishment when they stand before King Jesus, before the Almighty Judge. Never tire, never fear. We have the King of the Ages on our side!
Remember, "He that is not with me, is against me" (Matthew 12:30).
Never be ashamed of saying, of acknowledging that CHRIST IS KING! He truly is and no one has the right to take that away from Him.
Pray for the Conversion of the World and the Rightful Recognition of the Kingship of Christ throughout it.
¡VIVA CRISTO REY! - LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!
JESUS
BORN AS A BABY
PREACHED AS A CHILD
KILLED AS A MAN
AROSE AS A VICTOR
COMING BACK AS A KING.
CHRIST IS KING, YES INDEED, CHRIST IS KING FOREVER!
