God Speaks to Our Heart

God does speak to our heart, when we listen. He promises us that His sheep knows His Voice. Are we listening?
Over the years, He has spoken His Words to me, some personal, some messages for all to hear or read. That is why, this morning when finding one of the many messages jotted down---I feel led to write some of the most comforting and reassuring "Words or Messages" down.
Planning for a trip, these thoughts/Words came to me.
"Just as you carefully plan for a long trip, plan carefully your day as you travel in life. When you wake up, give yourself time to spend with your Lord. Cleansing the mind and the heart as you cleanse the body."
"How Lord, we may ask?"
"Read daily from Scripture, Psalms and pray for the Holy Spirit to come and lead and guide you along the way. Ask all the Angels and saints, the poor souls in Purgatory to pray for all too---especially Your Blessed Mother who, like your Lord is always at your side and watching over you. Be still and know, we are there--everywhere, as you travel in life."
"Relax and be glad, float on the waters of life! Give to Me, total obedience so that I may fulfill the plans I have for you in your life. Plans that will bring to you all that your heart desires, totally. Trust in Me and be totally alive--now and forever."
"Is this You Lord, I ask?"
"Peter was estastic walking on the water-until! He looked down and started to sink. Don't look down, my child. Don't be sad or discouraged--keep your eyes locked into Mine. Bring all before God with thanksgiving in your heart. By His wounds, you are healed. By your wounds, you are healed of self centered pride and healed by the gift of understanding and forgiveness that comes with understanding of "why, God, why. Come unto Me and I will give you Rest, and everlasting Peace."
"Where do I go to from here, Lord? "
"Be My Song--serve Me with your faith, love and trust. Give to Me the stubborn determination to keep on the path I lead you on. Hear My Words, read My Words and live My Words, love My Words and walk in Love, allowing Me to Be alive in you."

Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from Immaculate Heart of Mary church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)
But, most importantly, because of my parents’ spiritual renewal after attending Cursillo Weekends, I too went on a retreat at our beloved Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas and there, at age 20, gave my life totally, surrendering all to my Lord and best Friend. This was my “Pentecostal” event that left me, like all the early Christians, on fire with God’s love and forever changed.
My husband Robert and I have been married for 52 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. The story of our life together can be found in a book titled “My Journey, My Cross-As the Journals End,” published by Westbow Press . Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
