Are you willing to give away everything
To save yourself your family and friends
To give away all your life including
That special day you had planned
With your spouse the kids the pets
Are you ready to let it just end
Realize though there is a meaning
For this is for Jesus Christ
It’s not game playing
Giving up all will gain you eternal salvation
It is truly what’s been requested
Oh and everlasting joy did I mention
For this is exactly what He did for you
Lay down His Life
So you wouldn’t have too
In fact all that’s required is hard work and prayer
Oh and surrendering to Him your ego
It’s only fair
For He is the Creator of you and I
Our wonderful Father who made the sky
Whose Son died so we could never die
So I ask you again
Pray before you answer
Are you willing to lay it all down
