THE DANCE
NIGHT LIGHTS
Oh, Look! A star,
falling from heaven—like a flash,
swiftly downloading a wondrous beam, illuminating the sky.
Such a grace I have seen:
a piece of heaven, brilliance of spirit.
A wink of time, suspended from above,
arching downward in luminous colors.
This trail of celestial fragments,
falling, sprinkling heaven's spirit upon the earth.
Oh, how precious to see a glimpse of you—
a moment, seconds of spiraling glitter
upon my heart, my soul.
I am dazzled by this sparkling teardrop from heaven.
I am in awe, captivated, seeking adoration of your face.
I await your spirit, your presence, when your fireworks once again, sparkle the night sky, consuming my wonderment, my love for you.
