A smile is like a prayer for others

When we pray for others, we hope to support them through a hard time or troubling situation. We take the time to think of them and ask God to help them as we have asked God to help us before.

There is another way that we can help others, and that is to smile. A smile is often a sign of happiness, but it's a sign of kindness, too. For a brief moment, we are connecting with someone else by acknowledging them and trying to spread joy to them.

Sometimes, we should smile at a stranger, but we should smile at our loved ones as well.
