From a mountain top I can see the Gateway to Paradise!
Beware of Wolves in Sheeps Clothing
As usual we find there are more than one way to skin a cat. Unfortunately, most of us can be caught in a whirlwind of fraudulent attempts to take our money, agreeing without our willingness to a scheme that may do harm to our reputation or financial status. These are simple mishaps that occur every day to unsuspecting citizens. What can we do to counter these attacks from money seekers gnawing at our bank accounts and good standing in the marketplace of life?
The same scenario can exist with the spiritual attempts to seek a different manner of worship to an unseen deity believing we are on the correct path to a God that promotes the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. Their method has put the world treasures of sensuality, greed, and humanistic goals replacing the very tenets of what true worship of God no longer has meaning.
Yet, that's just what is occurring in our halls of justice and the leaders in charge of our freedoms. No longer are the rights of people considered viable. This is the day of Marxism beginning to take hold of the reins of justice and twisting their promises of freedoms to represent what we as citizens are to follow. If only we could take the clock of time and go back to Philadelphia and the moments men such as Hamilton, Adams, and those who signed the Declaration of Independence guaranteeing the rights of Americans for an untold period of history. They would be up in arms at what the 21st century has done to discriminate against the very rules of justice to the United States.
Can you think for just a moment what has happened to the world’s descendants of Abraham where people have buried the Ten Commandments in an urn similar to a cremation container to just sit in an enclosure that nobody even knows what is there? It’s as if the consequence of burying the promises God made to Moses as he led God’s people out of slavery to the promised land has now become a place on the shelf of life with no future. The 21st century has begun a thrust towards perdition and those who are following the attractions towards sensuality that is so clouded with evil intent that the glory of God is being overrun from the devil’s commands. A shame that is now accepting with open arms a promise of new-age proponents of lust for freedom from God’s promises to those who have lost their faith is a failure of proper evangelization.
Each of us, through our baptismal promises at confirmation, have a mandate to pull out of our pockets the very gifts of reaching out to lost souls is more crucial now than ever before in our Christian acceptance of the Holy Spirit.
The end is not too far away and there are numerous souls just hanging around with no idea where to go. Laity, clergy, and the halls of Rome must take a serious look at the gifts we received and the premise to use them as the weapons of God to redeem souls who without us may plummet to hell. If we have the opportunity to reach out and fulfill the promises of Confirmation and fail to utilize the grace God gives us, we may be responsible for any of these needy souls going to hell. That will also be the judgment on us as well. We cannot say it was their job to save their own soul. Not true!
“Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 5: 19). Reaching heaven is not a matter of notches on our belt to display before others. However, it is the manner of our willingness to tell others about Jesus, his mission to redeem us, and most of all the love God has given to us to believe and teach these beliefs to the ignorant about God and salvation.
There are too many who are directly leading weak souls away by promising the opposite of salvation and God’s intent of love through his mercy. Remember, Satan’s promise to Adam and Eve was only a lie. (Gn 3: 4 - 5). This scenario is being replicated through the halls of Washington DC as we speak.
