How long will it take to destroy ourselves?

This has nothing to do with the Tribulation that will follow the Rapture.  But it does have everything to do with the current state of many nations lining up to wipe Israel and the Jewish people from the earth.  As I write this scenario Iran is already sending drones loaded with bombs and rockets at Israel to pay back the recent destruction of an Iranian embassy and two high ranking generals being killed.    Fortunately Israel's counter defense system was able to deter any serious destruction and human life.  Dated April 13, 2024.

Let’s go back six months, October 6, 2024, when Hammas attacked Israel and the world looks to the threats from Iran to wipe the Jews from the earth.  Hitler did the same, and failed.  As I wrote before, there are more nations that are in collusion with Iran that threaten our world peace that, like a powder keg, are ready at the wrong move by one incompetent leader to light the match.  Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and a few others in the Mid-east, have their tongues hanging out to be the one who will take democracy down and instill Marxism and a one world government as predicted in the Book of Revelation.  Where will the United States be during this cataclysmic event?     

We are on a planet that was created for humanity and all the increments of life are still intact, but slipping away at an alarming rate.  Global warming is one, especially when we watch the mighty glaciers melting.  There are some, maybe many more, that won’t accept the fact that our industrial capacities have a lot to do with this slow evaporation of the Ozone layer which is causing the heat from the sun to destroy the protective layer around this planet.  But that is just one method from man;s appetite to make money at anyone’s expense.  The Industrialization of America was a boon to worldwide production of steel, the automobiles, men landing on the Moon, and a progress that would prove to be the rapid growth of modernization around the world.  However, it came at a price we are still in debt over; too much production without safeguards to protect the planet's resources from deterioration.

If this was the only problem mankind is facing we could take steps to reverse as possibly as human ingenuity would allow.  But there are too many obstacles at our door that promise to destroy us.  They are the one criterion we seem to have forgotten.  It is the presence of Almighty God who has been watching mankind slowly degenerate from the flood to today’s erroneous disregard for why God created us in the first place.  

In the greed man has acquired to have more and more without regard to his neighbor has corrupted our sense of right from wrong.  Forgetting for a moment the slow but obvious deterioration of the planet, the desire of nations fighting for control and takeover of their neighboring nations, there is still one truth that exists in spite of so many non-believers that either do not know about God, or the many who hate his name and are headed to perdition in hell.  

We can all live with the fear of world conflicts tearing civilization to pieces, the planet’s resources collapsing to another ice-age, or wake up Christians and Jews and see the very essence of Almighty God calling us to faith and watching as we completely trade his grace for sensual satisfaction at the expense of our own souls.  “Flee from sexual immorality.  Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexual immoral person sins against his own body.”  (1 Cor 6: 18).    

These are serious enough to consider why God created us and handed each one a gift of free-will to find him alone, without the greed that appears to glisten like gold only to find it is a mirage.  

You and I still have the opportunity to reverse the sin of greed that attracts our attention.  Pray, confess to our sins, seek God and believe in his Son Jesus Christ who went to the Cross in payment for our lack of belief.  Without faith we are lost!
