Why Catholics Should Not Believe in The Law of Attraction

                What is the Law of Attraction? It is a new age belief that everything good and bad in your life that has happened to you first started as a thought and you attracted it or brought it upon yourself with thought. This could be anything from getting a raise, promotion, to being fired or let go. It either makes you the victor or the victim. It either rejoices in success or blames the victim.

                As Catholics, we know this to not be the case. We know our prayers will be answered through Jesus Christ in accordance with His will! Not our own will! With the Law of Attraction if you are healed then you manifested it. If you are not healed, then it’s your fault. If you die, then you chose to transition out of this earthly realm. The Law of Attraction turns creation into Creator. It takes God of the picture. It is a lie from the Devil! When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed “Father, let this cup pass from me but not my will but Yours be done.” Jesus even knew he couldn’t have what he wanted. He knew what was in store for Him! However, for the Glory of God the Father and His love for mankind He was obedient.

                As Catholics, know this, God is Love, faith without works is dead, and everything is genuinely the will of God. We are not slaves or pawns, but we need to have faith in God and accept His will for our lives.

                In summary, the Law of Attraction is demonic. If you know anyone who is practicing this, please tell them. Love them, be kind to them because the Law of Attraction makes one go through an emotional roller coaster. Pray for them, show them this article but most importantly lead them back to the faith.
