Eucharistic Hiddenness
Constant love between the Father and the Son,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
Divine Spouse of the faithful Virgin,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
Unexpecting yet expected Presence,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
To keep me in the Son’s gaze,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
To help me communicate the Father’s love,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
To catch the little foxes,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
To sharpen my Kingdom vision,
Come, sweet Guest of my soul.
Note: sweet guest of the soul (Dulcis hospes animae) comes from the Veni Sancte Spiritus sequence proclaimed before the Gospel on Pentecost
