The other day I was sorting through papers that I was planning to shred and recycle. I came across this paper of affirmations I wrote for as an assignment. I took a Learning Skill Class at a Community College. I am glad I saw it. I will share with what I wrote, and I hope this will encourage others. Every day, I am still learning, growing, facing challenges, and making mistakes too, lol.
Here are the affirmations:
- I am a child of God and perfect in his eyes.
- I am a wonderful and loveable gal.
- I am talented and able to use my gifts.
- I have potential.
- I am beautiful on the inside, as well, on the outside.
- I like the way I am I do not need to change.
- I am neat and organized.
- I am helpful and caring.
- I am creative and like to do things in a logical order.
- It is okay to make mistakes. I will learn from them.
- I have my own voice.
- I love myself.
- I have confidence in myself.
- I am excellent at what I do.
- I am considerate and nice.
- I am tenacious, diligent, and intelligent.
- I bring joy into people’s lives.
- I am comfortable communicating with others, and I freely ask for help and offer feedback.
- I have the initiative to do tasks.
- I take care of my family and friends.
- Yes! I can do it!
These phrases are also good reminders!
- Practice makes permanent!
- Stop – Breathe – Think – Respond.
- Assume = Make an Ass of You and Me.
- Stinking Thinking.
Every day, we remind ourselves and others that we can do anything that we put our mind to it. Sometimes, we just need that extra push from families and friends! We Praise You Jesus, Amen!
