"In the Still of the Night!"
A Realistic look at the Truth!
Perhaps the most poignant verse in scripture regarding truth is when Pilate asked Jesus; “What is truth?” (Jn 18: 38). The problem humanity faces today could respond to that statement with the same answer; “what is truth.” Looking at the confusion from too many new-age pundits, in their own estimation, who have chosen a path completely divorced from the reality of democracy. With a communist type of public adherence towards a total socialistic society there is no more need for truth since the government will have the final say as to how to exist without personal achievements.
This direction our latest teaching institutions have chosen is a far cry from what our founding-fathers intended for this nation. I know, the old reading, writing, and arithmetic theme has given way to the necessary scientific approach to be in-line with modern achievements in industry and medicine. Use the up-to-date curriculums that have done away with the doldrums of 19th century scholastics. Get with it we are told.
What has happened in a lot of school systems around the country are now methods of interjecting material at the elementary level that will prepare young students, in their basic learning years, to accept and promote as well to their parents the new way of education. Hitler always stated that if you tell people something long enough they’ll believe it. The days of a young child coming home from school and relating the information their teacher has taught them. If any parent hears this and accepts what the schools are teaching, they must take a serious examination of where this new method of education has come from. We need to take a look at the text-books the schools are using, especially if most of the material is morally wrong.
Truth! Just what is truth when the texts being studied are off-limits to parents? The excuse that the schools have decided to modernize the learning curve with a profound method of increasing their learning ability is not good enough. When I taught in trade schools I was shocked at how many students were deficient in English when they could not grasp simple language in a sentence. I was teaching the National Electrical Code which has a lot of prepositions describing certain uses of materials in specific settings. It was like instructing pre-teens on the comprehension of simple words who should have been taught that before graduation.
Let me give an example. In the electrical code comprising motor controllers, the statement that its location must be visible either from or in sight of the motor connection. Many students could not determine the difference between these two words or statements. The answer is in sight from. Using the preposition from meant you could be hidden from view of the controller and someone might turn the controller on without the mechanic noticing that. Electrocution is not a manner of safety to be ignored. My point is even after explaining the difference, some never could understand the difference. This is just one type of pushing students out into the world with very little understanding of simple language proponents.
However, some of the new-age methods of teaching elementary students is to promote immoral principles that deal with gender changing and telling students their choice should be between the teacher and the student. Never mind allowing the parents to make a decision. The school now becomes the final voice in education. So besides the community becoming Marxist, the schools are now rejecting God and the code of moral proficiency to the youngest of the vulnerable leaders of the future; our children.
The realistic look at truth has become a term no longer useful to many people since the question Pilate asked was 2,000 years ago and has slipped into oblivion. Without truth regarding what Jesus was telling him the reality of salvation is heading into the past and how many will find hell as their final stop after death. Who is going to take responsibility for that?
