12 Inspirational Quotes from the Saints for Easter
Just as crowds followed Christ throughout his earthly ministry, faithful throughout the United States will process with our Eucharistic Lord through cities, along highways, and past rural towns on his way to the 10th National Eucharistic Congress. In what is one of the largest Eucharistic pilgrimages in history from May 17 to July 17, 2024, Our Lord is making the pilgrimage with his American faithful throughout the United States.
Our Lord will travel 6,500 miles through roughly 27 states for the Eucharistic Congress in Indiana, with over 10,000 faithful Catholics over the course of 60 days.
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage offers an interactive map to help you explore each of the four unique routes of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage. Whether you are on the West Coast and wanting to take the Junipero Serra route, on the East Coast and wanting to walk the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton route, or in the Midwest for the Marian there are opportunities for the faithful to participate in the pilgrimage, volunteer, or participate in local parish events around the pilgrimage.
As the official site beautifully puts it:
Following Jesus is a personal statement of faith—a faith that moves us to seek Our Lord wherever he goes: be it the streets, cathedrals, or in the hearts of the poor. The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will not only be undertaken by Perpetual Pilgrims (those who commit themselves to making the entire journey). All Catholics are invited to participate in this massive “Eucharistic Caravan.”
If you live near one of the four established routes, come meet Jesus as he passes by! If you are unable to meet up with the main pilgrimage, we encourage you to make your own pilgrimage in solidarity!
If you are unable to participate due to physical limitations, you can still participate in prayer and engage in the beautiful ministry. While we need faithful to walk on the road to Emmaus, we also need those to pray in the upper room. We are all united in the bond of prayer under our precious and Eucharistic Lord.
Let us begin the Eucharistic Revival!
