The Glory of this Holy Easter - Poem
The Premise of being Right
How often we must scrutinize the essence of doing something because it is the right thing to do. We cannot sit and discuss the correct manner of anything in life when two people disagree on the same subject. What is the most controversial subject each of us must face on a daily basis that will determine a future of truth; the surety of our salvation?
Face it, people who do not believe in the crucifixion of Jesus, or the resurrection of Christ who has overcome eternal death and the enemy of God; Satan! Understanding why the devil decided to allow pride to enter his eternal soul and become an entity that didn’t want to adhere to his creator’s grace and everlasting life is not for us to ascertain. With free-will this would not have occurred; and without free-will none of God’s creatures would be able to seek his everlasting existence and would become like puppets with no purpose.
A sculptor artist creates a cup or bowl and people look with awe at his creation. However, the creation can sit upon a table or sit on a shelf and that is its finality. It has no free-will or even a reason to admire its maker. Without the gift of free-will neither humans or angels would have a reason for existence and that isn’t the essence of God’s creating beings that could return that blessed beauty of creatures loving in some manner their maker and God.
There are those who do not agree on the divinity of the Holy Trinity and the very understanding of a divine purpose our creator made and entered into the very persons of humanity for these living examples of God’s greatest accomplishment. The cosmos was created for reasons beyond our finite understanding. And angels were created for the protection and careful watching over this creation called humanity. However, both were given a free-will that would be the manner with which we would give back our love to God.
Now, let’s put two human minds together and dialogue the reasons that God established a series of events that involved his very essence to save us from eternal death. Because of the same sin that caused pride to enter Lucifer and turn him along with a multitude of fellow angels to leave heaven's protection, so the same sin is ever present before us as a living entity that knows no reason for mercy.
Incarnation, the very inclusiveness of God taking on humanity, the crucifixion, the only possible manner that without it human beings could never see the deep love God has for us, the resurrection of Christ, the perfect truth that we shall also go through the same metamorphosis to eternal life with the Holy Trinity, forever.
Here we can see no discussion if both people are Christian believers and exemplify the life of Christ through a man and God of which he is both. This then proves there is no plausible understanding where man and God are one as Jesus spoke of: “I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through through their word, so that they may all be one, as you Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.” (Jn 17: 20 - 21).
