A Procession to outdo all Processions
To live within the Presence of God and feel his divinity
For anyone to pray and hope our prayers are heard is a common feeling as a finite being. But, to understand the reality of the response from God is almost too far beyond our comprehension in the knowledge of seeing the results in a believable fashion. Trusting in God for our well-being is a requirement each of us must rely upon in the hidden aspect of his mysterious response to our needs.
Yet, without that trust the answer to even one prayer can become a gnawing at our heart. It has always been a world of praying to an unseen Power without recognizing the essence of something that is beyond our intellect, is always around us, and in fact dwelling within our humanity, that never leaves our very essence. When God created man he placed within us an unseen quest to find his divinity that will always be a life-line that is part of his attachment to our soul. It could be identified as a lightr-house whose beacon is always shining through the darkness of life. Without that light that shines even through the universe of mens’ souls we would be lost forever. This glow of peace and warmth is the entity of God that has become the safety net we must reach for in good times and bad.
This is the ability to understand and comprehend a reality that has always been, and is reaching us when the way back to him has become covered in a cloak of doubt. It is within the cover of unbelief that too many fail to understand something to requite our desire of trust.
The desire to know there is someone or something that has been embedded within the recess of our brain that we are not aware of, mentally. That essence is the need to find the person or substance who is God. When we see or hear about one person who seems to be lost and performs unbelievable attacks on other people for no understandable reason, perhaps their grasp on this unseen entity has been clouded by the evil of sin and is crying to find its life-line.
However, this scenario happened to humanity right after our creation, and God, in his endless desire to have each of us take hold of the light that is always beside our human spirit wiping away the clouds of misunderstanding and is pulling our soul back into his comfort of endless love.
Like the mystique that seems to call us in the darkness of night so the reality of the Holy Spirit continues to reach within this shroud of confusion and allows that light that is eternal to open to our understanding and find the path that is always before us.
As Psalm 23 opens the text of comfort we can truly speak the very words of hope it provides. “The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures and leads me beside still waters. He revives my soul and guides me along right pathways for his Name’s sake. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me; You spread a table before me in the presence of those who trouble me; you have anointed my head with oil, and my cup is running over. Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” (Ps 23: 1- 6).
