Fishers of Man

Cast over there on the other side of the aboat

That is where you’ll find your catch He said

Now go ahead go out to the world and boast

Boast to all what He told you

About where He told you to throw

And the load you caught because you listened to

Remember He also said It’s not about catching fish

It’s also about catching and converting souls

Saving others now He’s asked you to do for this is truly His wish

Sure it’s amazing to be fed for a day

A week or even two

But this Food He offers lasts forever provided each day to Him you pray

Now it’s time to head out to the big water

The world’s awaiting now go fish

With Him at your side you’ll have success trust and you’ll not falter

Like any other fishing expedition

You might not get a bite today

But persevere for this is the mission

A prized catch you will one day land

They who will be so eager

That you’ll be able to lead them and to help them understand

For I have made you the ultimate fisherman

And it’s no longer fish I desire

I need you to gather to Me your fellow man
