Yes or No
Building
On the sand my beautiful hut I fashioned
Colorful hammocks woven walls and the roof thatched
It is designed to keep me cool and dry
The walls not too tall the ceiling not too high
It didn’t take long to assemble
It feels sturdy it’s woven it cannot crumble
Oh my the wind’s blowing
And now the rain in sheets is falling
Oh no my floor’s a small river flowing
A giant gust and now I’m flying
Why didn’t I spend the time to build properly
I think to myself just as my house is destroyed utterly
Up on the hill up on the rock and stone
Is where I should have built my home
And out of the materials there
Not with palm fronds that can fly in the air
Listen I should have to that Fisher who seemed so wise
Maybe I could have been one of His twelve guys
Amen
