A Child In The Family

Child of a Mother I have never seen. She dwells in
a Castle, and is The Queen.
My Father, upon me, gives many commands.
I have a brother whom they have named Savior.
I acknowledge I am not the one to whom my parents favor.
Always, I will be grateful for the joy I stand to inherit
for carrying my cross without seeking merit.
It is because I have the Spirit who lives within me.
He fills me with joy, protects, leads, and guides me so I can be free!
One day, my Father promises, He will call me to come home,
to live in the Castle full of glory.
It will be my forever home, and never more will I be alone.
For you see, we are all part of One Family!
