Doubting 

Do we need to view the tree

To know it’s there do we have to see

Listen to the rustling from its leaves

Will that help out our unbeliefs

How about a bumblebee

Can we believe by just tasting its honey

What about a mountain brook

Listen to it gurgle do we really need to believe that we must look

Faith is believing that what we can’t see is real

Even when we are unable to taste it hear it smell it or feel

Saint Thomas had to learn this foolishly

For he demanded that he see Jesus and his wounds immediately

We have in all situations we encounter

Many decisions we must consider

To achieve the right one we must rely on faith and prayer

For believing in Heaven that’ll get you there

Strive to keep your faith in Jesus strong

For with Him is where we all belong

But it does require hope and trust

Also real faith and true prayer a must
