They tell us something

If you don’t understand them ask

Read and learn it is your God given task

Phrases have meaning too

Such as tie your shoe

Not just for looks and admiration

But for safety to avoid a hurtful situation

It’s why Our Lord Who came as a healer

For sinners where He proclaimed Himself like a doctor

And told the onlookers to learn the meaning

Of the words He had been speaking

We too should heed His words and phrases

For they are valid in all times and ages

And for all from adults down to children

Their meaning is the key to Heaven
