By Faith Alone

Did not the official show he had faith

By asking The Preacher to come in haste

To heal his sick daughter who was very ill

The mysterious bug she had was about to kill

But yet He told the father don’t worry she’s asleep

Please don’t break down and weep

But the crowds had their way

Nothing nice just laughing and jeers did they say

We too must learn not to fuss and get alarmed

When things go awry and even when we are harmed

Trust and have faith surrender to Jesus

For then will you not even notice

Offer to Him daily your cares

Pray and worship and He’ll calm your nerves

Amen
