Dear God Letters--Wheeling Valor
All Souls. Dear God Letters.
Dear God,
"As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for You, O God." Psalm 42:2.
My soul thirsts for heavenly desires after a life of flesh, and worldly needs. My soul is only strengthened when at Holy Mass, I encounter the only true love my soul desires--that which my soul only truly craves for. When at prayer at Your altar I ask for, and feel the presence of God.
Heal my wounds Lord God of hosts. So that I may serve You, and therefore attain the desires of my soul to enter a true paradise, where I may join the nation of Angels and heavenly souls of human kind also known as saints of God.
To be a child of God, does it not mean to look deeper to the soul of a person?
The nation of angels of God, whom are the same color, but different I could hear singing--
All souls are the same color--all souls.
All souls.
All souls are created by God. All souls are creatures of God.
All souls.
Nationalities of all sorts were at a one time oppressed for color, creed, or some sort of manifestation--perhaps poorness.
Our brothers and sisters of Islam, do we not have the same father in Abraham?
The same?
Do we not share that?
To be a Catholic, does it not mean to see as God sees, and love as God loves?
Am I doing that?
St. Paul writes, "But when the kindness and generous love of God our Savior appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we had done, but because of His mercy, He saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by His grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life." Ti 3: 4-7.
We ask for peace, Father Yahweh, Shepherd of us--all souls. Guide us to see as God sees, and love as God loves. "Remember your word to your servant by which you give me hope." Psalm 119:49.
Give me courage to stand up for what is right. "I am yours; save me, for I cherish Your precepts. The wicked hope to destroy me, but I seek to understand Your testimonies." Psalm 119: 94, 95.
We ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
