Heavenly contemplations

My favorite book on heaven is by author Anthony Destefano entitled: A Travel Guide to Heaven. In the book, he presents a beautiful imagination of what we hope for as Catholics. Reading it invites the reader to imagine adventures awaiting us in our true home.

I know when I get to heaven, I would love to sit with Blessed Mother and hear from her different stories of Jesus's hidden life. I also want to bring all my questions from earth to Jesus and hear His reflections on my life. 

I love to cook and can't wait to gather fresh ingredients to help prepare heavenly feasts to share with all the new Saint friends I will meet. I'd love to share picnics in paradise with my favorite Saints in breathtaking settings.

I can't wait for my new body and I want to watch the angels in action.

I have so much hope, even if my imagination can't touch the glory that awaits us.
