Precious life
Being morally upright, doing the right thing, and making morally sound decisions—especially when it comes to justice—are the essence of being righteous. A Christian must uphold God's law of love in order to be considered righteous. Loving your neighbour as God loves all people is what righteousness is about.
The statement "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" appears in 2 Corinthians 5:21. The term righteousness in this verse refers to approval or being considered right in his eyes. For this reason, it is crucial that we live virtuous lives in order for God to regard us as such.
Being a righteous person has a great influence on society. Being morally upright may entail paying your staff a fair and respectable wage. Speaking the truth when lies are attempted to take control is one way to be righteous. Helping the underprivileged and those in need of special assistance can be a sign of righteousness. Another means of righteousness is to be a person of prayer in your relationship with God and to do His will.
The world needs more righteous people. Are you a righteous person?
