Stop living by lies

I think there’s a problem we have in our culture.  We’ve forgotten how to repent, because we’ve convinced ourselves we don’t sin.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

I’ve pretty much always been Pro-life, so I have always called out the hypocrisy of “Pro-choice” pastors and denominations. 

But, lately, I’ve seen alleged Christians defending Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.  Or Hamas’s aggression against Israel. 

And it’s not like I haven’t written on these topics, before. (Truth matters, You have the obligation to speak out against evil, Are we judging fairly?)

There are people who defend Hamas and Russia, and it’s disgusting.  With Israel, we only ever hear what Hamas says, and completely choose to ignore Israel.  Somehow, supporting Hamas became a “liberal” position (Thousands of anti-Israel protesters descend upon White House) and somehow, being Pro Russia has become a (fringe) Conservative position (but those “fringe” people are often the loudest), but there is nothing pro-life about defending this, Massive Russian missile attack kills 31, injures 125 in Ukraine, this, Russian missile strike on Metinvest building in Kryvyi Rih kills 10 or this Bodies of two children found in rubble of Kyiv high-rise.

I’m sure Tucker will find a way to talk about how it’s really protecting religious freedom (which I’ve already documented Russia doesn’t have).

And then it gets to the point of insanity.  You have people that are (allegedly) Pro-life, that will say things like “Ukraine is corrupt”, to defend being Pro-Russia.  Umm, Ukrainians are aware of problems with corruption.  They don’t deny it.  But, since when doesn’t a corrupt country have the right to defend themselves?  It should also be noted that the most corrupt Ukrainian politicians were largely aligned with Russia.  Like Kuchma and, Yanukovych.

Oh, and the people that think NATO magically started the war because of a Nonexistent verbal agreement (WATCH: Putin Lies About NATO Expansion Promise: ‘Total Nonsense,’ Says Yeltsin’s Foreign Minister) , Ukraine’s first president after the collapse of the USSR, was Pro-NATO, Kravchuk: NATO presence at parade an important step towards cooperation with alliance

You may be surprised to know this, but I don’t pray for Putin’s death, I don’t pray for the death of those who commit atrocities on innocent Israeli civilians (which I guess we’re supposed to just forget about it, and when Jewish celebrities do talk about it, they get stuff like this;Jerry Seinfeld defends his trip to Israel despite intense backlash: 'My feelings are very strong')

Why are the victims the ones being blamed?  What in the world is going on? 

Where’s the social justice crowd? (Social justice is actual Catholic teaching, the way that American leftists is not the same as the historical meaning of the phrase).
